With numerous aerial species flocking in, this lake truly is a paradise, along with monitor lizards and monkeys making random appearances every now and then. Prawn fishing is routine here at this freshwater lake, and if you’re present at the right timing, you may even get to catch a glimpse of fishermen casting their nets out into the water with hopes of a bountiful catch!
For those who love nature and animal life, a visit to The Turtle Research Centre is a fascinating place to explore. It is located about 2 kilometres away from the town centre and is a place that is dedicated to protect these endangered species.
