Encounter Hill Country
Adventures

8 days | 7 days | 5 days

Although Sri Lanka is a tropical country, with a sunny tropical climate, the central hill country with its cool and soothing climate is much different to the sunny sandy beaches around the coastal areas of the country. Being referred by the nickname ‘Little England’, the hill country with its misty mountain peaks, picturesque waterfalls, and luscious tea estates, the Hill country tour among our four travel packages, is a perfect holiday tour package to sooth your body and mind in a dreamy atmosphere yet enjoying the nature at its best with a touch of little adventure. The escapade starts from Colombo to Kandy, formerly the seat of medieval kings, and this gives an opportunity to absorb the warm and friendly atmosphere of Sri Lanka. The scenery becomes more spectacular on the drive to Nuwara Eliya, the hill country preferential by the British when the heat of the coast got too debilitating for them. The bungalows, the cool soothing climate and ambience bring to mind an old fashioned England.
